Founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1977, we are a full-service law firm with special emphasis on business and corporate representation, international trade and business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, real estate matters, general litigation, and immigration law, including visas for business persons and investors.

Throughout the years, the Firm has provided legal representation to a large number of U.S. and Asia Pacific companies and enterprises. We have also served as legal counsel to multinational enterprises from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The Firm started business development in China in the early 1980s. In 1993, we became the first U.S. law firm licensed by China's Ministry of Justice to open a branch in Guangzhou. In December 2002, the Firm obtained approval from the Ministry of Justice to open a second branch in Beijing. Gary Chodorow serves as Chief Representative of that office.

We are one of a handful of U.S. law firms with extensive experience in advising multinational companies in their legal matters in China.
