law firm with
offices in
Guangzhou, Beijing,
and Pasadena,
California. The bulk
of our clients are
SMEs, although we
also represent some
Fortune 500s and
individuals. We
currently have the

CASE MANAGER
(BEIJING OR
SHENYANG)
This position will
involve working
under supervision to
manage all steps of
immigration cases.
This includes
business visas,
investment visas,
family immigration,
work visas, and
others. The position
requires very strong
English and Chinese
language skills.
Specific duties will
include:
-
Speak with
prospective
clients.
-
Interview
clients.
-
Review
documentary
evidence and
perform factual
investigation.
-
Perform legal
research.
-
Advise clients
in writing and
orally.
-
Prepare forms,
letters, and
affidavits in
support of
cases.
-
Chinese-English
translations of
legal documents.
-
Track case
status using our
case management
software,
including
showing steps
taken and to-do
items, recording
critical
decisions, and
noting potential
problems.
-
Report to
supervising
lawyer.
-
Assist in
maintaining
research files,
administrative
files, and
models used by
the firm.
-
Participating in
marketing
efforts.
-
Billing and
collections.
Job requirements:
-
Very strong
English and
Chinese language
skills, both
oral and
written.
-
Bachelor's
degree in law,
English, or
another field.
Persons with
legal education
or immigration
law experience
are encouraged
to apply, but
these are not
required.
Extensive
training will be
provided.

Proficiency
with MS Office (Word,
Excel, Outlook).
-
Good
organization,
interpersonal
skills,
professional
ethics,
self-initiative,
and problem
solving are
crucial.
Compensation
will depend on
experience and work
performed.
ADMINISTRATOR
The
Law Office
Administrator is
responsible for
handling
administrative
functions in our
small Beijing law
office so that the
office runs
efficiently:
-
Answering the
phone,
responding to
potential
clients’
inquiries, &
scheduling
appointments
-
Keeping income &
expense records;
preparing client
bills and
receipts; paying
office bills;
bank
transactions;
filing tax
returns;
cooperating with
the accountant
-
Maintaining
office
equipments and
supplies
-
Opening and
closing case
files
-
Maintaining
office
procedures
manual &
administrative
records
-
English-Chinese
translation and
interpretation
-
Maintaining our
law firm’s
website
-
Typing
correspondence
and forms
-
Filing the law
firm’s annual
report with the
Ministry of
Justice
The
requirements for the
job are:

Fluent oral and
written English
& Chinese
-
Two years of
administrative
experience
-
College degree
(any major)
-
Proficiency with
MS office
(including Word,
Excel, Outlook)
and preferably
Adobe Acrobat
and MS Frontpage

Good
organizational
skills,
including the
ability to
balance
priorities

Skills at
communicating
well with staff
and clients in
person and on
the phone

Founded in Los
Angeles, California,
in 1977, we are a
full-service law
firm with special
emphasis on business
and corporate
representation,
international trade
and business
transactions,
mergers and
acquisitions,
intellectual
property rights,
real estate matters,
general litigation,
and business and
investment related
immigration.
Throughout the
years, the Firm has
provided legal
representation to a

and Asia Pacific

business development
