Founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1977, we are a full-service law firm with special emphasis on business and corporate representation, international trade and business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, real estate matters, general litigation, and immigration law.

Throughout the years, the Firm has provided legal representation to a large number of U.S. and Asia Pacific companies.

The Firm started business development in China in the early 1980s. In 1993, we became the first U.S. law firm licensed by China's Ministry of Justice to open a branch in Guangzhou, with chief representative Frederick W. Hong. In 2002, the Firm obtained approval from the Ministry of Justice to open a second branch in Beijing. The chief representative is Gary Chodorow.

We are one of a handful of U.S. law firms with extensive experience in advising multinational companies in their legal matters in China.
